Welcome
to the home of the Blythe Hornets Pop Warner Football &
Cheer...
Blythe Hornets Pop Warner has
over 100 participants, ages 7 to 13. 2004 was our inaugural year providing football and cheerleading activities for the youth in this area.
Blythe Hornets are apart of the Colorado River Football
Conference. The Conference includes teams from these
cities: Kingman, Arizona. (furthest north), Blythe, CA. (furthest south), Laughlin,
Nevada., River Valley , Arizona., Bullhead City, Arizona., Lake
Havasu City,
Arizona., and Parker, Arizona.
Pop Warner is the only youth organization that has a National program to recognize its scholar-athletes. The program recognizes scholar-athletes at Conference, Regional and National levels.
At Pop Warner, it's NOT just about football! It's about
building life-long characteristic traits in our youth, both
boys and girls. And, though this is accomplished with football
and cheerleading as our vehicle, we teach...

Cheerleading was officially recognized in the 1970's, but has been a part of the Pop Warner program for several decades. The first ever National Cheerleading competition was held in DeKalb County, GA. Today, 120,000 children are participating in cheerleading and dance around the United States.
Participation in the Pop Warner Spirit Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Pop Warner programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone.
The Spirit Program is growing in numbers each year due to the popularity of the sport. In an effort to keep pace with the many new changes in the cheer & dance industry, there are a few basic rules that are unique to Pop Warner Spirit Squads.
